Better Than A Snickers Bar Slice

Snickers slice

Ingredients:

Chocolate Layer:

Nut Layer:

Peanut Caramel Layer:

Directions:
Bottom Chocolate Layer

  • Melt coconut oil and cacao butter in the microwave or in a pot
  • Add cacao powder and vanilla and whisk until combined
  • Pour half into lined 8×8 inch tray and place into the freezer until set

Nut Layer

  • Place all ingredients (except peanuts) in your food processor or Thermomix and whizz until combined and sticky
  • Add peanuts and whizz for a few second so they are still a little chunky
  • Put on top of the chocolate layer, press down firmly and set aside while you make the peanut caramel layer

Peanut Caramel Layer

  • Combine all ingredients in your Thermomix, food processor or by hand
  • Pour on top of the nut layer
  • Place in the freezer until it is firm

Top Chocolate Layer

  • Pour over the remaining chocolate and place in the fridge to set
  • Once set remove from the freezer and slice into portions with a hot knife
  • This is best stored in the freezer as it does melt quickly
